The ODS logo (on front of pamphlet) incorporates KSCS’ logo which represents the clans that form our Mohawk Communities. 

The two row wampum element signifies partnerships, the darker rows being the two parties involved. The beads connecting the two rows signify peace, respect and a good mind. These are the principles our team strives to operate under.

Organizational Development Services (ODS)

ODS is a First Nations consulting and training business. We operate within Kahnawake Shakotiia’takehnhas Community Services (KSCS) as internal/external consultants. We are unique in our ability to bring a wealth of information and experience in areas such as service programming, community development, organization development and community health and social services through our ties to KSCS.

ODS operates with a strong team mentality. The ODS team is comprised of four core consultants who are all Mohawk woman from the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory. Our team members have diverse academic and professional backgrounds that enrich our collective knowledge and skills.

Our Philosophy is:

We believe that capacity building is crucial for successful self determination. Capacity building helps individuals, families, organizations and Nations develop to their full potential.

Where possible, ODS employs and/or trains people within the organizations and communities we work for. The intent is to transfer skills and knowledge within the community to continue the work that was started.

We believe our clients deserve personalized and professional services in a respectful manner. We work in partnership with our clients to determine the best course of action to meet the organization or community’s needs. We hold ourselves to a very high standard for ethical and quality work.

ODS specializes in community health and social service issues, however our projects have grown from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. We offer customized services within the following three areas: Training and Development, Organizational Development and Community Based Research and Development.
