Internal Operations is a key department at KSCS, located on the third floor of the Kahnawà:ke Office Complex (KOC). We are the internal functions that support all other departments to focus on delivering services to the community. Our team oversees five main areas: Administration and Reception Services, Communications, Facilities, Human Resources and Payroll, and Information Technology Services.
Each area contributes to the stability and strength of the organization. We manage hiring, onboarding, and staff support; maintain all KSCS buildings and physical spaces; coordinate internal and external communications; ensure accurate and timely payroll; and provide the digital tools and systems that keep teams connected and efficient.
The work of Internal Operations is essential to the overall functioning of KSCS. Our role is to make sure every department has what it needs to succeed - whether that means the right staff in place, dependable infrastructure, or clear organizational processes.
Our director is part of KSCS’s senior management team and contributes to high-level planning across the organization. This includes participating in initiatives that respond to the needs of Kahnawà:ke, and collaborating with other leaders to strengthen services and community partnerships.
Through the development and oversight of policies, procedures, and internal systems, Internal Operations ensures that KSCS runs in a coordinated and well-supported way. We aim to provide each department with the foundation it needs to operate confidently and deliver meaningful, community-centred services.
