Turtle Bay Elders' Lodge Receives Certified Accreditation Status
Kahnawà:ke Shakotiia'takéhnhas Community Services (KSCS) is proud to announce that Turtle Bay Elders' Lodge (TBEL) and Home and Community Care Services (HCCS) has received Certified status from the Accreditation Canada following a compliance assessment visit on June 5, 2025.
This certification is valid until June 5, 2029. This achievement reflects TBEL and HCCS's rigorous evaluation against national and international standards (HSO/ISO) and demonstrates the team's unwavering commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care and continuous improvement for the community's elders.
Nia:wen to every TBEL and HCCS staff member for their careful attention to detail and dedicated efforts in meeting all compliance standards set forth by Accreditation Canada. Special recognition goes to their leadership teams - Mike Horne, Dwayne Kirby, and Dwayne Ouimet - whose careful mentorship was integral to achieving this certification.
