Our dedicated team works diligently to provide residents with high-quality care and personalized support to help residents strengthen their mental health and overall well-being.
The ILC is a 12-bed residence offering a safe and structured environment that promotes stability, social integration and overall well-being. Residents have access to an interdisciplinary mental health team to help them every step of the way. With access to case workers, like skills workers, mental health nurses, physicians, pharmacists and psychiatrists, we ensure that everyone receives comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.
What We Offer
Residents of the ILC also have exclusive access to the Assisted Living Mental Health Program—a specialized program designed to further support recovery, build life skills, and enhance community integration.
Assisted Living Mental Health Program
The Assisted Living Mental Health Program offers a safe and supportive residential environment for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The program is designed to help maintain and improve mental health through personalized assistance, life skills development and therapeutic support.
This program offers supports that focus on:
Residence for those with severe and persistent mental illness
Maintaining and/or improving mental health through assistance
Capacity building through life skills supports
Improving inter-personal skills through peers
Increased socialization and integration within the community
Trips, educational and cultural experiences
Stress relief through art and music
Counselling services and talking circles
Access to addiction services and other therapeutic treatments
Physical activity based on abilities
Collaboration and Support
At the ILC, our priority is ensuring that every resident receives the care and support they need.
We work hand in hand with ALS staff to provide a seamless network of care, we also value input from family members or caregivers, recognizing the importance of a strong support network.
