On December 6th and 8th, members of the Making A Difference Group (MAD) raised money and collected food for the Kahnawake Christmas Food Baskets. The initiative was a way to teach the group members, which is a youth leadership program for adolescents between the ages of 12-17, about the value of giving back to the community.
In all, the group raised $803.00 and collected non-perishable food items for the Christmas food baskets.
